Little bits of chic.....

Happy Wednesday!  It's the middle of the week, so let's celebrate by looking at some nail polish!

So here are the colours.....

First date at the Golden Gate "You and me and this shimmery ruby makes three"
I love this. You can never have too many reds. This one has dark orange undertones and has a bit of a vintage feel about it. I also love the name! I have to say I don't know who wrote the description for this one (above in italics) but I see no shimmer at all - its a cream.

Muir Muir on the wall "This trailblazing plum is the fairest all"

Yep - another hit. I actually have something similar in my collection which is an old discontinued colour and hard to get hold of now. So I know what to buy when I run out. It is a great classic shade for the winter and hard to describe - but I will have a go....It is a very dark plum with a rich brown shimmer. Looks very silky on the nail. It reminds me of galaxy chocolate for some reason - maybe minstrels(?)

In the cable car pool lane "Good Golly Miss Trolley, this rich burgundy takes me away!"

I am not sure what to say about this one really - it is a maroon colour cream. It reminds me of two things:- the colour of my old primary school jumper; and the inside of a red onion when you pull off the first layer of skin. Its nice, but just nice. It is a handy colour to have in your collection, but I won't be buying the full size version.

Peace & love & OPI "This holographic sage and eggplant is far out"

I have saved the best until last here! I had high hopes for this one and it did not disappoint. It is amazing! I have nothing like it in my collection.... and my nail polish collection is BIG!

This shade shimmers different colours depending on the light. It looks silver, grey, green, lilac and pink. I have tried really hard to capture it with my i phone camera, but you really need to see this one in person. Full size bottle already on order!
